The Lunenburg Community Food Pantry Privacy Policy

In the course of using the Site, the Lunenburg Community Food Pantry may ask you for your name, e-mail address, postal address and telephone number as well as other relevant information. The  Food Pantry also may collect certain non-personally identifiable information when you visit our website such as aggregate data about the number of visits to the Site and/or aggregate data about the pages visited.

How Your information is used by the Lunenburg Community Food Pantry

The Lunenburg Community Food Pantry is committed to honoring the privacy of its clients and supporters at all times, including those who give online or offline. We will not sell, trade, rent or share your personal information with anyone else, nor will we send mailings on behalf of other organizations. We collect and maintain only personal information that is specifically and knowingly provided to us by individuals or their companies.

The Food Pantry uses the non-personally identifiable information (“Aggregate Data”) to improve the design and content of the Site and may use the Aggregate Data to analyze Site usage as well as create services and features to fit your needs.   We may perform statistical analyses of these aggregate data and disclose the results as permitted by law.

We do not use or disclose the personal information you give us online unless it is required by court or administrative order or permitted under the law. In addition, we do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

In addition, we use the personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) you provide about yourself: (a) to respond to any of your inquiries or questions about our services; (b) to provide you additional and updated information; (c) to report to and obtain food from the Worcester County Food Bank and Feed America; (d) to offer you other materials and/or information that we believe may be of interest to you, and which you have opted to receive.

In all cases, the Lunenburg Community Food Pantry agents and volunteers who have access to Personal Information are required to protect this information in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy.  The Food Pantry will not use the Personal Information, except as set forth above, without your permission; provided, however, the Lunenburg Community Food Pantry shall own all such Personal Information and maintain copies of such as part of its records as required by government and federal agencies for audit purposes.

The Lunenburg Community Food Pantry has implemented security measures to help protect against the risk of loss, misuse and alteration of any information under the Food Pantry’s control.


Nevertheless, such security measures may not prevent all loss, misuse or alteration of information on the Site, and the Lunenburg Community Food Pantry is not responsible for any damages or liabilities relating to any such security failures. You understand that data and communications, including e-mail and other electronic communications, may be accessed by unauthorized third parties when communicated over the Internet.

Furthermore, the Site contains links to other web sites. The LCFP is not responsible for nor can the LCFP ensure the privacy practices or content of such other sites.
